"File submission stage 2 interspersed with lunch"

"Since I became a lawyer in 1987, this is the first time for the Submission of Case Files for Stage 2 - the term P.21, namely the Submission of Case Files and Evidence and the Suspect being treated to lunch by the Head of District Attorney's Office."

"Friday 10/16, at 10 o'clock the Dittipkor Bareskrim Investigators along with 3 (three) suspects ..."

With photos showing the atmosphere after lunch, the suspects, NB, PU and TS with their lawyers;

Associated with these posts can be explained as follows:

1. That it was true that the second (II) file transfer was carried out, which was the submission of the suspect and evidence in a corruption case against red notice removal of red notice involving the suspect NB, PU and TS and which was carried out on Friday, October 16^th 2020 at approximately 10.00 WIB up to 14.00 WIB;
2. Whereas until 12.00 WIB the handover had not been completed and had paused for Friday prayers and lunch time, it was in accordance with the applicable procedures at the Attorney General's Office. The suspects who are handed over are given a ration for lunch considering that it is time for lunch and especially when the suspect is detained. The detention center will certainly not receive lunch at the detention center because the suspect's position is outside the detention center;
3. Whereas the lunch of the Suspects, who had been photographed and posted on social media for the suspect's lawyer, was carried out in the examination room or the suspect's handover room in the Special Crimes Section of the South Jakarta District Attorney's Office, not in a restaurant or restaurant;
4. Whereas the food given to the Suspects was food in accordance with the budget ceiling at the South Jakarta District Attorney's Office and it happened that at that time the food given was ordered from the canteen in the South Jakarta District Attorney's office;
5. Whereas the provision of lunch rations for the Suspects is the duty of the Indonesian Attorney's Office's staffs who received the handover of the suspect and evidence which was carried out after lunch time, especially if the suspect was in detention, so that it was not a meal by the head of the South Jakarta District Attorney to the suspects who were high-ranking officers in the Indonesian National Police. And no more so because the South Jakarta District Attorney's Office has obtained the title WBK / WBBM so that public services are the top priority;
6. Nevertheless, regarding the circulation of posts and news that cornered the Indonesian Attorney's Office, clarification will be made by the Deputy Attorney General for Supervision to check whether there are violations of the procedure by the Head of the South Jakarta District Attorney's Office and staffs regarding the handling or treatment of the suspect during the second stage (II) handover.
